Phoenix Call Center

It is the capital and the largest state in Arizona. It is also the fifth most populous city in the United States. With a population of 1,552,259 residents, it is the 12th largest metro area in terms of population. Located in the northeastern reaches of the Sonoran Desert, Phoenix has the most extreme climate of any major city in the United States. The average high temperatures are over 100 °F (38 °C) for almost five months out of the year, and have spiked over 120 °F (49 °C) on occasion.

The economy of Phoenix is primarily agricultural, mostly dependent on cotton and citrus farming. Majority of the residents in Phoenix are employed by the government. Numerous high-tech and telecommunications companies have relocated to Phoenix including 7 Fortune 500 companies.

At the end of the year 2008, the Arizona Department of Commerce and Douglas City have partnered to attract Advanced Call Center Technologies LLC to the city. The company is expected to become the city’s largest private employer during the next several years, with the prospect of employing nearly 700 employers.
